Phase 2
Dominguez Channel
- Installed and sampled nine additional groundwater monitoring wells in the access roads along the eastern and western sides of the channel and three wells within Recreation Road
- Drilled 20 additional shallow soil borings within the channel bed and collected soil and petroleum compound samples
- Chemically analyzed soil, groundwater, and petroleum compound samples
Summary of Results: The results of this phase of work are still pending data analysis. A report of findings is scheduled to be submitted to the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board on May 1, 2012.
